InSinkErator Evolution Compact 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal Review
The InSinkErator Evolution Compact 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal is a compact yet very powerful unit that can easily grind up and dispose of some of the toughest items. With its two-stage “MultiGrind” technology things like, potatoes, celery, pineapple, even bones are no match for the Insinkerator evolution series of disposals.
In addition to being able to virtually liquefy the toughest food items the Insinkerator evolution is whisper quiet. The innovative “SoundSeal” technology reduces vibration and uses insulation to reduce noise levels by 40% or more when compared to other garbage disposal.
Since Amazon sell so many disposals, they can afford to offer the best prices on the net for all Garbage Disposals including the Evolution compact 3/4 HP. Click here to check it out.

Evolution Compact Reviews:
The reviews for the InSinkErator Evolution Compact 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal are fantastic with 94% of the reviews we found online giving this product a 4 star or 5 star rating. Its stainless steel construction helps resist corrosion. Many of the reviewers commented that the installation was fairly easy and could be completed in about an hour. Many people also commented on the power of this disposal saying it can easily grind up and flush away anything you feed into it.
A few of the people commenting said that it was not as quiet as they expected it to be. However, many other people commented that it was so quiet that they were not even sure if it was working when they first switched it on. Quite a few people said that they were ready to try to fix this disposal or return it because they believed it was not working but upon closer inspection they realized that it was in fact working and that it was exceptionally quiet. The case of the disposal is insulated to help muffle sound and the drain connector assembly’s metal parts are cushioned with rubber to reduce vibrations. Apparently, these sound and vibration dampening measures work!
Our research uncovered only a couple of negative reviews of this product and the overwhelming majority of people are not only thrilled but actually amazed with the InSinkErator Evolution Compact 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal. It’s a compact, well-built, powerful, and quiet disposal.

Easy as 1-2-3: This is the one to buy.
1. They say that the larger “Essential” model is 40% quieter vs. baseline whereas this is only 30% quieter. For what it’s worth, this sucker is about 300% quieter than the ISE 333 beastie that it replaced. I have not regretted the 10% quietness I’m supposedly missing for so much as an instant.
2. Size-Wise, this thing is more than sufficient for usual household use. Critically (for me) its size is in line with the size of “prior generation” models, meaning that it matches the spaces (and pipe layouts) of whatever disposal you’re likely replacing. It’s small in the same way that today’s Extra Value Meals are small: They’re the same as last generation’s large.
2. If you’re replacing a previous generation InSinkErator (specifically, the 333, 555, or 555) you can re-use the existing mounting rings etc. This delightful suprise ended up turning an estimated 3 hour project into a 25 minute project. A rare example of things being EASIER than I planned going in.
I ready the reviews and made the purchase. Overall, i am extremely happy with the unit. Very quiet, solid build and simple install. Under 3 hr job with a beverage break in there. scratch that off the honeydoo list.
shoot fun info man.
We just purchased another InSinkErator Compact Evolution Household Food Waste Disposal in Gray. Our last one just died on us and it was 16 years old.
The quality is great and oh so quiet compared to our last one. The one feature I love about it is that the rubber can be taken out and periodically cleaned underneath which the old one couldn’t be and that was a hassle cleaning.
I hope this one lasts as long as the first one we had. As far as we are concerned you can depend on the name InSinkErator for quality. Also, my husband had no trouble installing it himself.
My cousin recommended this blog and she was totally right keep up the fantastic work!
I just installed this disposer to replace an inferior GE product. I got used to the loud noise and scary vibration the cheap GE disposer produced. When I turn this Insinkerator on, I couldn’t believe how quiet and steady it is. It’s beautiful.
My previous GE did such a bad job grinding that it actually clogged my drain pipes. I’m grinding all sorts of things in this disposer. You can’t beat the price to quality ratio either. I’m so glad I bought it. I’m an Insinkerator customer for life now.
Wow this is a great resource.. I’m enjoying it.. good article

I just installed the “Compact”. After watching the Home Depot video and talking to coworkers who did their own installs I decided to do it myself. I’m glad I did. Home Depot and another plummer wanted $150 to install a disposer. It wasn’t any big deal. The hardest part was lifting the 20lb disposer into the clamp rings.
I turned the Compact on and boy is thing quiet! The water from the faucet is much louder. I can barely hear it. So far I am very pleased.
My old disposer was a Badger 1 that came with our 6 year old home. That thing was awful. Noisy, didn’t grind well at all, and died in 6 years.
Spend the extra money on the Evolution Compact. You’ll love it!
i just wanna thank you for sharing your this info on your blog

Boy am I glad I spent the extra money to buy this puppy! (it’s not much at all really) I expected similar performance to the old GE disposal that I had, I got it, and a whole lot more. I’m glad this thing was on amazon, all the reviews are fantastic and it made the buy a lot easier.
If you’re looking for an awesome disposal look no further. This one has it all covered with featured, a great warranty, and it’s ultra quiet to boot!

I am at my wits end and more trying to get the installation rings to mount …. the mounting collar will not allow the metal rings to go on ..not even moderately easy …. I have just about broken my hands on this …. spent at least 2 hours trying to align the rings …
what’s wrong??? is there a trick to get those rings in place???

I really appreciate this website. I chose the Evolution compact and found that it was indeed easy to install. I had an old Emerson with the quicklock rings and it made it very easy to install. I will share 1 trick that helped me. I’m a large guy and find it hard to get under the sink in a very small space so it was difficult to hold the disposal up to the rings properly so I could lock it down. So, I used my small floor jack for my car to lift and hold the disposal in place while I checked to make sure it was properly aligned. Then, I was able to easily turned the quicklock rings and lock the disposal in place.
It is indeed a quiet machine and so far I’m very satisfied with the amount I spent and quality I product I have received.
What can I say.. this our second Insinkerator which replaced the Model 333. It is awfully quiet compared to the older one and was a snap to install. I had to replace my leaking “J” trap under the sink, so the ease of installing the disposal left me more time to upgrade my plumbing as well. Our old model lasted over 10 years before it began to leak – about the same time time the “J”trap corroded, so all in all, this is a very good dependable unit and looks good under small cabinets.
Glad you found the site useful Dan. One can’t go wrong with the Insinkerator Evolution series.
